Moa Lundgren (born April 14, 1998 ) is a Swedish cross-country skier .

Career

Lundgren participated in junior competitions until 2018. Her best placements at the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival 2015 in Steg were 17th place over 5 km freestyle and fifth place with the mixed relay. At the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer , she won the gold medal in cross. She also achieved ninth place over 5 km freestyle and fourth place in the sprint. The following year she finished 34th in the 5km freestyle, seventh in the sprint and fifth in the relay at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Soldier Hollow . In March 2017 she became the Swedish junior sprint champion. At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2018 in Goms , she won the gold medal in the sprint and also achieved ninth place over 5 km classic. In March 2018, she started the cross-country skiing world cup for the first time at the World Cup finals in Falun , reaching 35th place in the sprint and 64th place in the 10 km mass start race. At the beginning of the 2018/19 season, she took eighth place in the sprint in Ruka, her first World Cup points and achieved 33rd place in the Lillehammer Tour . In the further course of the season she came in second place in the sprint in Vuokatti and won the mini tour in Madona . She also finished second in the pursuit and first in the sprint. At the U23 World Championships in Lahti in 2019 , she won the gold medal in the sprint. She finished the season in third place in the overall ranking of the Scandinavian Cup and in 57th place in the overall World Cup. In the 2019/20 season she took 19th place in the Ruka Triple, third place with the relay in Lillehammer and at the end of the season she finished 27th in the overall World Cup. At the U23 World Championships 2020 in Oberwiesenthal , she won the silver medal in the 15 km mass start race. In addition, she ran there on 25th place over 10 km classic and 17th place in the sprint.
