The Modon is a river in France that runs in the Center-Val de Loire region . It rises near the hamlet of Bretagne , in the eastern municipality of Écueillé , generally drains in a northerly direction and flows into the Cher after 26 kilometers in the municipality of Couffy as a left tributary . On its way, the Modon crosses the Indre and Loir-et-Cher departments .
