Mohammad Masjed Jamei

Mohammad Masjed Jamei ( Persian محمد مسجدجامعی; * 1954 (1332 in the Iranian calendar )) is an Iranian diplomat in retirement .

Life

He is the son of Ayatollah Mostafa Masjed Jamei, a scholar in Tehran. He studied law at the University of Tehran . In addition, in the 1960s he carried out studies on the principles of the great verses of Grand Ayatollah Hossein Vahid Khorasani and the late Mirza Javad Agha Tabrizi. From 2009 to 2011 he received his doctorate from the University of Pisa on the subject of geopolitics of the Persian Gulf , Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates .

He is a member of the Faculty of International Relations of the Education Institute of the Iranian Foreign Ministry. He is an advisor and tutor to the Hawza in Qom . He heads the Institute for Contemporary Islamic Studies and Strategic Studies. He heads the cultural coordinators of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

From 1991 to 1997 he was ambassador to the Holy See . From 2003 to 2008 he was ambassador in Rabat .
