Mojca Suhadolc (born January 7, 1975 in Ljubljana ) is a former Slovenian ski racer . It started mainly in the downhill , super-G and giant slalom disciplines .

biography

Suhadolc celebrated her first big success at the Junior World Championships in Maribor in 1992 with the silver medal in combination .

In the World Cup , she achieved her first podium on December 7, 1995 with third place in the Super-G in Val-d'Isère , the day after she was second in the giant slalom behind Martina Ertl . On November 28, 1999, she won her first and only World Cup race with the number 1, the Super-G in Lake Louise . This was followed by third places in the downhill and super-G in the 1999/2000 season . That season she was third in the Super G World Cup.

Suhadolc took part in six world championships and two Winter Olympics, but could never win a medal. Her best placements were ninth in the giant slalom at the 1993 World Championships in Morioka and seventh in the downhill at the 2001 World Championships in St. Anton . After the World Championships in Bormio in 2005 , she ended her career as an active ski racer.
