Monika Held
Monika Held (* 1943 in Hamburg ) is a German writer and journalist .
Life
Monika Held grew up in Hamburg and Cuxhaven as the daughter of a sales representative and a pensioner. The parents set up their own small pension in Cuxhaven - Duhnen in the 1950s . The daughter had after GCSEs there first publishing executive to learn before a traineeship at the Hanover press was allowed to begin and journalist was. After her traineeship, she worked for Hamburger Abendecho and Reutlinger Generalanzeiger and finally for company magazines. Then she switched sides and covered working conditions, the union movement and strikes for the union press for many years. She was a permanent freelancer for Hessischer Rundfunk and produced radio features for SR , SWF / SWR , SFB / rbb and WDR . From 1991 she was a permanent writer at Brigitte magazine . In addition to everyday journalistic work, he wrote nonfiction books and finally novels. Monika Held has been a freelance writer since 2000, living in Frankfurt am Main and North Friesland .
