Monika Held (* 1943 in Hamburg ) is a German writer and journalist .

Life

Monika Held grew up in Hamburg and Cuxhaven as the daughter of a sales representative and a pensioner. The parents set up their own small pension in Cuxhaven - Duhnen in the 1950s . The daughter had after GCSEs there first publishing executive to learn before a traineeship at the Hanover press was allowed to begin and journalist was.
