Monika Hessenberg (* 1943 ) is a German actress and radio play speaker .

Life

Monika Hessenberg is the daughter of the composer Kurt Hessenberg and the great-great-granddaughter of the doctor and writer Heinrich Hoffmann . After graduating from the Goethe-Gymnasium in Frankfurt , she completed her acting training at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media . Hessenberg had engagements there as well as in Verden and Oberhausen, later she worked at the Städtische Bühnen Frankfurt , at the Staatstheater Darmstadt , at the Comoedienhaus Wilhelmsbad and at the Salon-Theater Taunusstein. In addition, she was touring Germany with so-called "dinner thrillers".

Since the 1970s, Monika Hessenberg has occasionally been seen on the screen. She had several guest roles in the crime series Ein Fall für Zwei and played alongside Liesel Christ in the Hessian series Bei Mudder Liesl, their daughter. In Heidi and Erni, she appeared in several episodes, in the crime scene episode pain and suffering , she was seen in 1985 as the friend of a bank robber.

In addition, Monika Hessenberg works extensively as a radio play speaker and has been active in numerous productions for Hessischer Rundfunk and other broadcasters since the early 1980s . In Wolkenreiter und Sohn , a production by the Augsburger Puppenkiste , she spoke the character of Grad Wolkenreiter . Hessenberg also organizes readings.

Monika Hessenberg lives in Frankfurt am Main and is married to her colleague Wolfram Less , whom she met during her training. The couple have two daughters, Nina also works as an actress.
