The Monte Faloria is a 2123  m slm high mountain in the Ampezzaner Dolomites . It is located east of Cortina d'Ampezzo in the province of Belluno in Veneto .

From the center of Cortina d'Ampezzo a cable car goes up to the Faloria, where the Rifugio Faloria of the same name is located. Even inexperienced people can hike down into the valley from the mountain station. There are various ski slopes in winter. At the 1956 Winter Olympics , the men's giant slalom on the “Ilio Colli” slope was held on Monte Faloria . The women's giant slalom was relocated from Monte Faloria to the Tofana downhill run due to poor snow conditions .
