Moos is a cadastral municipality and a place in the municipality of Vorchdorf in Upper Austria .
location
Moos is located south of Vorchdorf on the northern slope of Feichtenberg and Bäckerberg . The district borders on the cadastral communities of Einsiedling and Lederau in Vorchdorf, Feichtenberg in Kirchham , Dorf in the community of Scharnstein and the cadastral community of Mitterndorf in the community of Pettenbach in Upper Austria. The Alm forms a natural border to the east to the municipality of Pettenbach .
history
In addition to the village of Moos (except for house no. 5), the buildings in Lederau no. 41 and no. 42 also belong to the Moos cadastral community. Neolithic remains of settlements on the Kögerl near Moos attest to an early settlement in this area.
