MORITZ - Das Stadtmagazin ( proper spelling : MORITZ) is one of the city ​​magazines with the highest circulation in Germany and the highest-circulation in Baden-Württemberg, which appears monthly in seven regional editions and is offered as a free title. Media partnerships

In addition to information about events, the sports area is becoming increasingly important: since the 2017/2018 season, Moritz has been the media partner of the 1st Bundesliga basketball player at MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg . From the 2018/2019 season, the media partnership with the German champions of the 1st Bundesliga in women's volleyball Allianz MTV Stuttgart was added. History of Moritz

The first edition of Moritz Heilbronn und Region appears in October 1993. The distribution area covers the city of Heilbronn and the district and extends to Mosbach, Sinsheim and Öhringen. In 1994 the distribution area in the south is extended to Ludwigsburg. The Moritz edition Neckar-Odenwald and Kraichgau was created in October 1994 when the team from the former "Mosbacher Stadtzeitung" took over. As a cooperation model with two women entrepreneurs from Hohenlohe, the first Moritz Hohenlohe edition appears in April 1996. In summer 1998 they move into the building at Heilbronner Kreuzenstraße 94. In the same year, the Hohenlohe / Tauber-Franken edition appears for the first time under the direction of Moritz-Verlags-GmbH, which is taken over by the Hohenlohe team. The first issue of MORITZ Stuttgart appears in November 1999, from which the Tübingen / Reutlingen and Ludwigsburg / Rems-Murr issues are spun off a year later . The headquarters of the publishing house has been in Ellhofen since 2016 . In October 2017 the new Esslingen edition appeared.

Format and layout

MORITZ has used the A4 plus format (220 × 297 mm) since the beginning , is printed in four colors throughout and has a glossy cover. The MORITZ logo, known today, has been used since 2009, which is identified by the MORITZ colors red, yellow and black. The last redesign of the magazine layout was carried out in January.
