Mortimer Franziskus Benno Andreas Karl Graf von Tschirschky-Renard , until 1878: Freiherr von Tschirschky-Reichell (born September 17, 1844 in Koberwitz , district of Breslau ; Province of Silesia ; † March 18, 1908 in Breslau ) was a German majorate and parliamentarian.

Mortimer von Tschirschky was a member of the aristocratic Tschirschky family .

His parents were Karl Benno von Tschirschky-Reichell (* July 25, 1810 Gut Schlanz near Breslau; died May 7, 1878 Gut Schlanz near Breslau) and Marie Christine von Renard , Countess von Renard (* August 5, 1826; died 4 February 1847). His grandfather was Andreas Maria von Renard .

He studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg , the Silesian Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Breslau and the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Breslau . In 1867 he became a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg . From 1871 to 1874 he worked at the District Court in Wroclaw.

In 1874 he inherited from his uncle Johannes Maria von Renard his estate in Groß Strehlitz, his racing horses and the thoroughbred stud. In 1882 his horse Trachenberg won the German Derby . He took over the majority rule Groß Strehlitz and its administration. In 1878 he was raised to the rank of count. In the Prussian Army he achieved the rank of major in the reserve. When he took over the inheritance as Fideikommißherr in Schloss Groß Strehlitz , he received the double name Tschirschky-Renard. That was fixed in the Renard house.

From 1877 to 1879 Tschirschky sat as a member of the constituency Oppeln 3 (Groß Strehlitz, Lublinitz) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the Free Conservative Party . From 1886 until his death in 1908 he was a representative of the landowners in the Breslau / Brieg district of the Prussian mansion . He was a member of the Provincial Parliament of Silesia . He was also a district deputy, a district council member and state elder .

After his death, the Groß Strehlitz estate went to his cousin Karl von Brühl-Renard , the son of his aunt Ludmilla von Renard and owner of the patronage of Seifersdorf (Wachau) near Radeberg.
