Moser's administration building in Merzhausen

The Moser GmbH & Co. KG is a construction company founded in 1934 with headquarters in Merzhausen in Freiburg and offices in Baden-Baden and Leonberg . The company is active in industrial , commercial and residential construction.

history

The company was founded in 1934 by Sebastian Moser. In 1938 he received his first major order - the road keeper's homestead for snow plows on the Feldberg Pass . In 1939 Moser had to build protective structures and repair bomb damage, 80% of his employees and all construction vehicles were drafted at the beginning of the war. The reconstruction began in 1945 with 30 employees, the first at the Archbishop's Palace - near what is now the historic department store on Münsterplatz . Buildings were repaired 3 days a week and groceries were hoarded the rest of the time.

In 1951, Moser received his first turnkey contract for residential development for the French military in Freiburg. The entry in the commercial register took place in 1952. In 1970 the son Hans Moser took over the family business and in 1972 founded the company SF Bau Moser GmbH & Co. KG. The company advisory board, which still exists today, was constituted in 1982.

In 1986 the construction company Dick and Wunsch in Gernsbach was taken over . This was continued as a branch of Moser GmbH & Co. KG and in 1990 it was relocated to today's administration building with a building yard in Baden-Baden . In 1988 Volker Lüdke joined the company. In 2001 he was appointed managing director and in 2007 took over the majority of the capital. In 1991 the new building yard with a precast plant was put into operation and in 1992 the new administration building in Merzhausen near Freiburg was moved into. The Moser Bauservice division was founded in Freiburg in 2002 . Since then, the focus in this area has been on renovation , refurbishment , expansion and conversion measures.

In 2008 another branch was founded in Stuttgart . In 2014 the move and the inauguration of the new administration building with the building yard of the Stuttgart branch took place at the current location in Leonberg .
