Moserkarspitze
First ascent August 16, 1870 by Hermann von Barth
Normal way Scharnitz - Kastenalm - Moserkar - west flank (pathless, I)

The Moserkarspitze ( 2533  m above sea level ) is a summit of the Hinterautal-Vomper chain in the Karwendel between an unnamed summit ("Untitled Summit P. 2526 m") to the west and the Kühkarlspitze ( 2464  m above sea level ) in the east.

The first documented ascent took place in 1870 by Hermann von Barth .

Ascent

The summit is quite easy to climb, but it is long and difficult to reach from the Hinterautal (from the Kastenalm ( 1220  m above sea level )) through the Moserkar and over the western flank; pathless, places I (UIAA) ) - extremely brittle. Similar arduous from the north from the Kleiner Ahornboden south of the Johannestal without a path to the Sauissköpfl, over the Ladizer Flecken to the base of the gully running down from the eastern Moserkarscharte, in this up and as above through the western flank to the summit (mostly without a path, point II)
