Motang ( Nepali मोटाङ or Bhotang ) is a Village Development Committee (VDC) in Nepal in the Sindhupalchok district .
The VDC Motang is located in the Himalayas in the north of Sindhupalchok. Motang lies east of the Indrawati and extends in the north to the district border with Rasuwa . The area is mostly in the Langtang National Park . The mountain lake Panch Pokhari ( ⊙ ) is located in the east of Motang. There is also a temple there.
Residents
At the 2011 census, the VDC Motang had 2582 inhabitants (1431 of them male) in 624 households.
