Chautara ( Nepali म्याङलुङ Chautara ) is a city ( municipality ) in central Nepal in the Sindhupalchok district .
The city was created in 2014 by amalgamating the Village Development Committees Pipaldanda , Chautara , Kubhinde and Sanusiruwari . It is the administrative center of Sindhupalchok. The urban area covers 40.7 km².
Residents
At the 2011 census, the VDCs from which the city of Chautara emerged had 15,606 inhabitants (7,314 of them male) in 3,877 households.
