Ouwo Moussa Maâzou (* 25. August 1988 in Niamey ) is a Nigerien football player who at Sektzia Nes Tziona played in the Israeli second division.

Career

Ouwo Moussa Maâzou was born in Niamey and began his career in 1998 in the youth of the ASFAN Niamey army club . In 2005 he made his debut on the professional team. In the 2005/06 season he scored 17 goals. In the following 2006/07 season he scored 20 goals in 34 games. In January 2008 he was sold to the Belgian club Sporting Lokeren . ASFAN allegedly received a transfer fee of 327 million CFA francs BCEAO (approx. 490,500 euros ) for him. By the end of the season, he made eight league appearances and one goal on matchday 31 against Cercle Bruges .

On January 3, 2009 he signed a contract with the Russian top club CSKA Moscow . The Muscovites spent 4.8 million euros on Maâzou, but it was loaned to his previous club, Sporting Lokeren , until June 1, 2009 . After the Russians reached the round of 16 of the 2008/09 UEFA Cup , he was recalled to Russia and was part of the CSKA Moscow squad from March 12th. After fifteen games and three goals, he was loaned to the French club AS Monaco in January 2010 until the end of the season. The club had a purchase option with a transfer fee of 4.5 million euros. After eighteen games and five goals, he returned to Moscow . For the 2010/11 season he was awarded to Girondins Bordeaux for half a year . Bordeaux also had an option to buy. After the loan period expired, he was loaned out again to AS Monaco in January 2011.

During the 2011/12 season Maâzou was loaned to two different clubs. The first half year he played for SV Zulte Waregem , where he only played four league games. From January to May 2012 it was awarded to Le Mans FC . At Le Mans he scored twice in 15 games.

For the 2012/13 season he moved to the Tunisian club Étoile Sportive du Sahel . After a season, Maâzou moved to Portugal to Vitória Guimarães .

For the 2014/15 season he moved to league rival Marítimo Funchal .

National team

Maâzou has been a member of the Nigerien national team since 2008 . He made his debut on May 31, 2008 in Kampala against Uganda . He scored his first international goal on October 10, 2010 against Egypt . Less than a month later, on November 17, 2010, his second goal followed in a friendly against Libya .
