Muammer Atalay (born March 12, 1995 in Erzurum ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Atalay played for the Büyükşehir Belediye Erzurumspors youth department and received a professional contract here in 2014. Until May 2017 he played exclusively for the reserve team and made his professional debut in the fourth division game on May 10, 2015 against Üsküdar Anadolu 1908 SK . In his second season with the professionals he reached the fourth division championship with his club and thus promotion to the TFF 2. Lig , the third highest Turkish league. After this success, he received no further contract extension and then switched to the amateur field to Serhat Ardahanspor. Here he played for a season and was brought back by BB Erzurumspor for the 2016/17 season. After his return, he continued to be a reservist. With his club he was the play-off winner of the TFF 1st Lig in the second division season 2017/18 and rose with him to the Süper Lig .
