Murat Akyüz (born August 13, 1981 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish football player.

Career

Akyüz arrived in Istanbul district of Bakirkoy on the world and started to grow in the youth of Galatasaray Istanbul with his club career. Because of the great competition in his position at the time, it was explained to him early on that he was no longer being planned. Akyüz switched to the then fourth division Alibeyköyspor as a professional player . He found immediate access to the professional team and played 29 league games in one season. Because of this performance, the teams of the higher leagues became aware of him. So he moved to the third division Kartalspor after just one year .

After two successful years at Kartalspor, he was recruited, including the transfer from the then second division club Kayseri Erciyesspor . Here, too, he quickly made it into the regular formation. At the end of the season he and his team achieved direct promotion to the Süper Lig by taking third place in the table . He lost his regular place in the Süper Lig, but often played as a supplementary player and sometimes played in the starting line-up.

In 2006 he left Erciyesspor and moved to the first division club Ankaraspor . Here he played the following three seasons, mostly as a supplementary player.

For the 2007/08 season he came to an agreement with Bursaspor and signed a two-year contract here. After the pre-season camp, he was sorted out by the coaching staff and added to the list of players. So he spent the following two seasons at third division MKE Kırıkkalespor . Here he made it quickly into the starting line-up and played for the team from Central Anatolia for two seasons . After Ankaraspor was excluded from the game by the national football association in the first half of the 2009/10 season, all players left the club. So Akyüz also changed and hired for the second half of the season at the second division Orduspor .

At the end of the season he left Orduspor and moved to the Süper Lig relegated Denizlispor . Here he only played half a season and signed with league rivals Karşıyaka SK . After one and a half years at Karşıyaka Akyüz moved to the first division club Sanica Boru Elazığspor in late January 2013 . After half a season Akyüz left Elazığ and signed with Samsunspor .

In the summer of 2015 he returned to Elazığspor and then moved on to league rivals Adana Demirspor for half a season .
