Murat Boz (born March 7, 1980 in Ereğli , Zonguldak Province ) is a Turkish musician, songwriter and actor .

Career

Murat Boz was born on the Black Sea and attended school in Zonguldak. Then he attended a school for fine arts (in Turkish: Güzel Sanatlar Lisesi) in Istanbul from 1995 to 1996 . At that time he was already performing as a singer. In 1998 he won a singing competition organized by the daily Milliyet , and in 1999 he graduated as a jazz singer . At the time he was also a backing vocalist for Tarkan . Since 2003 Boz has also been trained at the Istanbul Technical University at the Conservatory for Classical Music .

On stage as well as for music albums, Boz accompanied vocals a. a. Shakira , Tarkan , Nilüfer , Nazan Öncel , Hande Yener , Nil Karaibrahimgil and Grup Hepsi . In advertising he sang a. a. for spots from companies like McDonald’s , Cola Turka and Yedigün . He was also a jury member of the Turkish casting show for children O Ses Çocuklar . He is also a member of the jury for the main show O Ses Türkiye (except season four), the Turkish version of The Voice .
