Murilo Antonio Fischer (born June 16, 1979 in Brusque ) is a former Brazilian cyclist .

Career

Murilo Fischer began his professional career in 2004 with the Italian cycling team Domina Vacanze . In 2005 he switched to the Professional Continental Team Naturino-Sapore di Mare , where he had the most successful year of his career to date. Twice - in 2010 and 2011 - he was the Brazilian road racing champion .

Four times - in 2000 , 2004 , 2008 and 2012 - Fischer competed in road races at the Olympic Games; his best placement was 19th in 2008 in Beijing .

At the end of the 2017 season, Fischer ended his active cycling career.
