Mutakkil-Nusku

Mutakkil-Nusku , son of Aššur-dan I was a king of Assyria , according to the synchronistic king list a contemporary of Nebuchadnezzar I of Babylon . He ruled tupppišu , which is usually translated as “under a year”. According to the synchronistic king list , he was a contemporary of Itti-Marduk-balāṭu of Babylonia .

His name contains the god Nusku as a theophoric component.

The tone of the Babylonian letters to him is condescending to offensive, but the Babylonian king obviously cannot follow his words with deeds. A meeting with the king of Babylon (Itti-Marduk-bālatu?)
