Myriam von Schrebler (born May 22, 1930 in Valparaíso , † December 23, 2006 in Madrid ) was a Chilean singer who was best known as the Duo Sonia y Myriam with her sister Sonia von Schrebler .

Live and act

The daughters of the singer Cora Santa Cruz began their careers as a singing duo at the age of 11 and 10 in 1941 with Radio Carrera . Her first recordings were made in the next year. They performed as a duo until 1950 and then from 1957 to 1964 and went on concert tours a. a. through Chile, Argentina (with Libertad Lamarque and Astor Piazzolla ), Brazil, Cuba, Mexico, Venezuela and the USA.

After the duo's split, Myriam von Schrebler worked as a producer for the Spanish labels Philips , Columbia and RCA , where she worked with singers such as Joan Manuel Serrat and Julio Iglesias .
