The Tums Fast Relief 500 is one of two NASCAR Sprint Cup races held annually at Martinsville Speedway in Martinsville , Virginia . The other is the Goody's Fast Pain Relief 500 . It took place for the first time in 1950 and is therefore one of the oldest and most traditional races in today's Sprint Cup. At the beginning the race had no name at all. It was not until 1955 that it received a sponsor with Old Domination , which sponsored the race until 1982 and then again in 2001 and 2002.
