The NACHKLANG-WIDERHALL sound monument in Leonding / Upper Austria

The sound monument Nachklang-Echoes , which commemorates the victims of National Socialism, was unveiled in Leonding (Upper Austria) in May 2007 .

history

In Leonding there are two war memorials for the fallen and missing of the First and Second World Wars. You are in the center, right in front of the entrance to the cemetery, where the grave of Hitler's parents - a place of pilgrimage for neo-Nazis - was up until 2012. In the immediate vicinity is a house in which Adolf Hitler lived from 1898 to 1904, which is now used for other, charitable purposes.

The Kulturverein Kult-Ex erected a memorial at this symbolic place to commemorate the persecution, expulsion, extermination and resistance of all victims of National Socialism.

Audible text sculpture

Reverberation-Reverberation is a monument project that aims to increase visibility with a three meter high stele (stele design: Georg Lindorfer ; ceramics: Monika Hinterberger ).
