Georg Lindorfer

Georg Lindorfer (* 1962 in Rohrbach , Upper Austria ) is an Austrian artist , set designer and actor .

Life

Lindorfer did an apprenticeship as a butcher in Wels from 1977 to 1980 . He then studied stage design at the Mozarteum in Salzburg under the direction of Heinz Bruno Gallée . Since 1989 he has been working as a freelance artist. Lindorfer was a co-founder of the gallery "The only one". He created artistic projects with the Stadtwerkstatt Linz and designed art projects for public spaces. He created sets a. a. for the Theater Phönix Linz, the Landestheater Linz , the Stadttheater Regensburg , the German National Theater Weimar , the Saarland State Theater Saarbrücken , the Theater Potsdam , the State Theater Wiesbaden , the Small Theater Salzburg , the United Stages Graz, the Volkstheater Vienna , the Schauspielhaus Salzburg , the Kurtheater Bad Hall and the Steyr Music Festival .

In 2008 Lindorfer appeared for the first time as an actor in The Dwarf Calls , directed by Kurt Palm, at the Phönix Theater, Linz.

Lindorfer lives and works in Linz , Upper Austria.
