Nadeschdino ( Russian Надеждино , German Gersthenen , Lithuanian Girstenys ) is a desert in the Russian Oblast of Kaliningrad . The local office is located in Zelenogradsk Raion .
Geographical location
The Gersthenen / Nadeschdino locality on the eastern edge of the former Grünhoff forest is 16 kilometers north of the city of Kaliningrad (Königsberg) and can be reached from Vershinino (Pluttwinnen) not far from the Kaliningrad– Cholmogorowka (Fuchsberg) - Zelenogradsk (Cranz) road .
history
Before 1945, Gersthenen was a suburb of Pluttwinnen (now Russian: Werschinino). In 1874 Gersthenen was the mother church Pluttwinnen in the newly named after her erected District incorporated Pluttwinnen which until 1930 existed (then until 1945: District "Mogahnen") and the district Fischhausen (1939 to 1945: County Samland in Administrative district Königsberg ) of the Prussian province of East Prussia . In 1928, the municipality of Pluttwinnen with the district Gersthenen was incorporated into the neighboring municipality of Mogahnen (Russian: Motewelowo, no longer existing).
As a result of the Second World War , northern East Prussia and with it the small town of Gersthenen became part of the Soviet Union and in 1950 received the Russian name Nadeschdino. At the same time, the place was included in the village soviet Melnikowski selski Sowet in Primorsk Raion . In 1959 the place came into the Muromski selski Sowet . It was probably left around 1990.

The vast majority of the Gersthen population was Protestant before 1945 and parish in the parish of Rudau (today in Russian: Melnikowo). It belonged to the parish of Königsberg-Land II within the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union .
