Nadia Battocletti (born April 12, 2000 in Cles ) is an Italian athlete who specializes in long-distance running.

Athletic career

Nadia Battocletti gained her first international experience at the 2016 European Youth Championships in Tbilisi , where she finished sixth in the 3000 meter run in 9: 49.53 minutes. At the 2017 World Cross Country Championships in Kampala , she reached 34th place in the U20 rankings after 21:27 minutes and at the U20 European Championships in Grosseto she won the bronze medal over 3000 meters in 9:24.01 minutes. In 2018 she took eighth place over 3000 meters at the U20 World Championships in Tampere in 9: 13.45 min and in December she won the U20 classification at the European Cross Country Championships in Tilburg after 13:46 min. The following year she reached 24th place at the 2019 World Cross Country Championships in Aarhus after 22:24 minutes and then won the silver medal in the 5000 meter run at the U20 European Championships in Borås, Sweden in 16: 09.36 minutes . In December she defended her title at the European Cross Country Championships in Lisbon in 13:58 minutes and this time secured the silver medal in the team standings.

In 2018 Battocletti became Italian champion in the 5000 meter run. She is the daughter of former long-distance runner Giuliano Battocletti , by whom she is also trained.
