It rises in the municipality of Heugnes in Indre in the Region Center-Val de Loire , drained first east, then north-east and ends after about 44 kilometers in the municipality of Menetou-sur-Nahon as a left tributary to the Fouzon . Another branch of the estuary already reaches the estuary about two kilometers upstream.
