Gehée is a municipality with 255 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the French department of Indre in the Region Center-Val de Loire . It belongs to the canton of Valençay (until 2015: canton of Écueillé ) in the arrondissement of Châteauroux . The inhabitants are called Gehéens .

geography

The municipality of Gehée is located about 28 kilometers northwest of Châteauroux . It borders on Langé to the north, Baudres to the east and northeast, Moulins-sur-Céphons to the east and southeast, Levroux to the south and southeast , Frédille to the south, Selles-sur-Nahon to the southwest and Jeu to the west -Maloches . The hamlets in the municipality are called La Nictière , Rosier and Plaineffe .
