Palluau-sur-Indre is a French municipality with 789 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Indre in the Region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Châteauroux and the canton of Buzançais (until 2015: canton of Châtillon-sur-Indre ). The inhabitants are called Palludéens .

Palluau-sur-Indre is located about 35 kilometers northwest of Châteauroux on the Indre . Palluau-sur-Indre is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Médard in the north and north-west, Preaux in the north, Villegouin in the east and north-east, Saint-Genou in the east and south-east, Arpheuilles in the south, Clion in the west and south-west and Le Tranger in the west and northwest.
The former Route nationale 143 runs through the municipality .
