The Communauté de communes Écueillé-Valençay is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Indre in the Region Center-Val de Loire . It was founded on January 1, 2014 and comprises 18 municipalities (as of January 1, 2019). The administrative headquarters are in Valençay .

history

The community association was created in 2014 from the merger of the predecessor organizations Communauté de communes du Pays d'Écueillé and Communauté de communes du Pays de Valençay .

Historical development

With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Villentrois and Faverolles-en-Berry became part of the Commune nouvelle Villentrois-Faverolles-en-Berry . This reduced the number of member communities to 18.
