The Communauté de communes Champagne Boischauts is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Indre in the Region Center-Val de Loire . The community association was founded on November 25, 2016 and comprises 30 communities. The administrative headquarters are located in Vatan .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

• Communauté de communes du Canton de Vatan and
• Communauté de Communes de Champagne Berrichonne .

The association of municipalities originally founded as Communauté de communes du Canton de Vatan et de Champagne Berrichonne changed its name to its current name with effect from January 1, 2018.
