Lizeray is a French commune with a population of 82 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Indre in the Region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement Issoudun and the Canton Levroux (until 2015: Canton Issoudun-Nord ). The inhabitants are called Lizerains .
geography
Lizeray is about 42 kilometers west-southwest of Bourges and about 30 kilometers north-northeast of Châteauroux . Lizeray is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Paudy in the north, Les Bordes in the east, Issoudun in the south-east, Saint-Aoustrille in the south and south-east, Saint-Valentin in the south and south-west and Ménétréols-sous-Vatan in the west and south-west.
