Conde is a French municipality with 238 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Indre in the Region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Issoudun and the Canton of La Châtre (until 2015: Canton Issoudun-Sud ). The inhabitants are called Condéens .

Condé is located about 23 kilometers east-northeast of Châteauroux . Condé is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Issoudun in the north, Saint-Aubin in the east and south-east, Meunet-Planches in the south and west and Thizay in the west and north-west.
