Saint-Aoustrille is a French municipality with 227 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Indre in the Region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement Issoudun and the Canton Levroux (until 2015: Canton Issoudun-Nord ). The inhabitants are called Austrégésiliens .

Saint-Aoustrille is located about 46 kilometers west-southwest of Bourges and about 25 kilometers northeast of Châteauroux . Saint-Aoustrille is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lizeray in the north, Issoudun in the east, Thizay in the south, Neuvy-Pailloux in the west and south-west and Saint-Valentin in the north-west.
