Sainte-Fauste is a French municipality with 274 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Indre in the Region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Issoudun and the Canton of Issoudun (until 2015: Canton Issoudun-Sud ). The inhabitants are called Faustéens .

Sainte-Fauste is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Neuvy-Pailloux in the north and north-west, Thizay in the north-east, Brives in the east, Vouillon in the south-east, Mâron in the south and Diors in the west and south-west.
