Bommiers is a French municipality with 305 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Indre in the Region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Issoudun and the Canton of La Châtre (until 2015: Canton Issoudun-Sud ). The inhabitants are called Bometzois .

Bommiers is about 22 kilometers east of Châteauroux . Bommiers is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Meunet-Planches in the north and north-west, Pruniers in the east, La Berthenoux in the south-east, Saint-Août in the south and south-west and Ambrault in the west.
