Saint-Valentin is a French municipality with 279 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Indre in the Region Center-Val de Loire ; it belongs to the Arrondissement Issoudun and the Canton Levroux (until 2015: Canton Issoudun-Nord ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Valentinois .

Saint-Valentin is about 50 kilometers west-southwest of Bourges and about 27 kilometers north-northeast of Châteauroux . Saint-Valentin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Ménétréols-sous-Vatan in the north and north-west, Lizeray in the north and east, Saint-Aoustrille in the east and south-east, Neuvy-Pailloux in the south and La Champenoise in the west and south-west.
