Nancy Cartwright (voice actress)
Nancy Campbell Cartwright (born October 25, 1957 in Kettering , Dayton , Ohio ) is an American actress and voice actress .
Life
Nancy Cartwright is best known for speaking the original English voice of Bart Simpson, as well as other characters in the cartoon series The Simpsons . This role earned her an Emmy in 1992 . Cartwright also lent her voice to Margo Sherman in the animated series The Critic , Rufus the naked mole rat in Kim Possible and Chuckie Finster in Rugrats ; there she replaced Christine Cavanaugh in 2001 . Cartwright is a member of Scientology .
Cartwright was married to Warren Murphy from 1988 to 2005 and has two children.
