Narzym [ ˈnaʒɨm ] (German Wildenau ) is a village in the municipality of Iłowo-Osada in Poland. It is located 8 km southeast of the city of Działdowo (Soldau) and belongs to the powiat Działdowski , Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship .
history
The place was first mentioned as Wildenau in 1419, later renamed Narzym after a change of ownership. A church in the village was mentioned shortly after it was founded. Due to the Reformation in the Duchy of Prussia , the parish became Protestant.

Since 1920
On January 17, 1920, after the Peace Treaty of Versailles (because of the Gdansk – Warsaw railway ) , the place fell to Poland without a referendum. Through the attack on Poland in September 1939, Narzym came to East Prussia and the Neidenburg district, contrary to international law . In the East Prussian operation , Narzym was occupied by the Red Army in January 1945 and came back to Poland.
