history

The ship was built under construction number 6476 at the Abeking & Rasmussen shipyard. The keel was laid on September 3, 2008, the launch on November 5, 2009. The ship was completed on April 7, 2010. It was christened in the same month. The construction costs for Natalia Bekker were given as twelve million euros. The ship belongs to the Bard ship operation GmbH & Co. KG Natalie and managed by the Ems Maritime Offshore GmbH , a subsidiary of AG Ems , bereedert .

The ship is named after the former managing director of BARD Holding and daughter of its founder Arngolt Bekker , who died in 2009 at the age of only 32.

technology

The ship is powered by diesel-electric technology . The main engines are two ten-cylinder four-stroke engines from the manufacturer MTU Friedrichshafen (MTU 10V2000) with an output of 900  kW each , which supply two electric motors from the manufacturer Franz Wölfer Elektromaschinenfabrik Osnabrück (WÖLFER MODRF 355-4bb) with an output of 710 kW each .

commitment

The special ship, which is used for service and transport tasks in Bard Holding's offshore wind farm BARD Offshore 1, transports up to twelve service technicians who remain in the wind farm around the clock for their assignments. The necessary tools and an extensive spare parts store for service and repair work are kept on board the ship.
