The National Electronics Museum ( German  " National Electronics - Museum " is a) Technology Museum in Linthicum , a suburb of Baltimore in the US state of Maryland . It presents the history of radio frequency and communications technology using a large number of original exhibits .

Beginning with the telegraphy of the 19th century, through the developments in radio and television technology in the 20th century , the arc extends to modern times, for example to satellite communication . The history of radar , with a focus on World War II , Doppler navigation and radio technology , also takes up special space . This includes an in-house amateur radio station with the international call sign K3NEM / W3GR.

In addition to the approximately 10,000 objects, the museum has an extensive library with many documents and photographs on the history of technology .

The museum is open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., except on public holidays.
