The National League Championship Series 2011 (ALCS), in the sport of baseball , will take place between October 9th and 17th, 2011. In it, the winner of the tread National League Division Series in 2011 , Milwaukee Brewers (winner of the Central Division) and the St. Louis Cardinals (Wildcrad team) against each other, to the winner of the National League and its representative in the 2011 World Series to determine. The St. Louis Cardinals were the winners with 4 - 2 wins. David Freese (Cardinals) was recognized as the most valuable player .

Mode and participants

It is a best-of-seven series in which the Brewers have Homefield Advantage because the Cardinals are a wildcard team and therefore not a division winner. Therefore, Games 1 and 2 will take place in Miller Park , while Games 3, 4 and 5 will be played in Busch Stadium . The last game in 2011 was played again at Miller Park, game 7 was canceled due to the victory of the Cardinals.
