Milwaukee Brewers NLDS 2nd Winner
The National League Division Series 2011 (NLDS) will take place between October 1 and 7, 2011 and is part of the post season of the 2011 MLB season . It is used to determine which two teams will compete against each other in the 2011 National League Championship Series . As in previous years, the winners of the three divisions of the National League and a wildcard team took part in the two best-of-five series :
- Philadelphia Phillies (Eastern Division winner, 102-60) versus St. Louis Cardinals (wildcard team, 90-72).
- Milwaukee Brewers (Central Division winner, 96-66) versus Arizona Diamondbacks (West Division winner, 94-68);
Both encounters take place for the first time in the postseason.

Then came the minutes for the Philadelphia hosts. Shane Victorino's RBI in the fourth inning and Ryan Howards and Raúl Ibañez's home runs in the sixth inning turned the game for the Phillies. Ibañez's home run was also the final act of the game for Kyle Lohse, who left the game immediately. In the next two innings the Phillies scored 5 more runs, which the Adron Chambers' RBI and Skip Schumaker's 2 RBIs could not make up in the ninth inning.
