National Landscapes of Finland
As national landscape ( Finnish kansallismaisema , Swedish nationallandskap ) are in Finland designated landscapes, where special symbolic value for the history, culture and nature of the country is given. In 1994 the Finnish Ministry of the Environment published an official list of 27 national landscapes in Finland. The selection is purely symbolic and has no practical meaning associated with it.
