The Navisbach rises in the Tux Alps , flows - on the upper reaches in the rear Navistal also called Klammbach - through the Navistal and reaches a length of approx. 14 km. It flows into the Sill in a westerly direction north of Steinach am Brenner . He passes the town of Navis in the middle of the valley .
The waters are consistently clean and reaches the water quality class I-II. The brook supplies Navis with drinking water from a reservoir on the outskirts.
The structure of the Navisbach is a torrent . However, the water flows more calmly and is therefore less dangerous. One should not underestimate the brook, because it happened that it overflowed its banks during high water .
