As early as the 14th century, it had a wooden church that served as a parish church for the surrounding villages and probably lost its parish status during the Reformation . From the end of the 16th century Himmlisch Rybnai was increasingly populated with German forest workers and raftsmen from the Giant Mountains . In 1662 it became a parish again, to which the villages along the upper Erlitztal and Langenbrück in the county of Glatz also belonged. After the wooden church was destroyed by fire in 1845, a new stone church was built and in 1857 the hll. Consecrated to Philip and Jacob.

Since 1750 Himmlisch Rybnai belonged to the district administration Senftenberg . It had a school as early as the 18th century, which the children from Ritschka attended until 1785. Before 1918 it had a three-class elementary school, which was also run in three classes after the establishment of Czechoslovakia . For the year 1935 869 inhabitants are recorded, among these nine Czechs. As a result of the Munich Agreement , Himmlisch Rybnai was annexed to the German Reich in 1938 and belonged to the Grulich district until 1945 . In 1939 there were 779 inhabitants in 203 houses in Heavenly Rybnai. After the Second World War, the German residents were expelled . The number of residents decreased significantly, which resulted in numerous houses being left to decay. In 1991 the place had 108 inhabitants. In 2001 the village consisted of 82 houses in which 82 people lived.
