Neelotpal Das (born April 20, 1982 in Kolkata ) is an Indian chess grandmaster . He lives in West Bengal .

Luke McShane and Sarkhar Kuliev, as well as Neelotpal Das and Alexander Grishchuk, Youth World Championship 1992 in Duisburg

In 1992 in Duisburg , Neelotpal Das played at the World Youth Championship for under 10-year-olds, which Luke McShane won ahead of Alexander Grishchuk .

Neelotpal Das won the Indian championship for under 12s and under 25s.

In 1999 he became International Master .

In the national B championship he reached 2nd place and later took part in the co-world championship in Tripoli .

In 2006 he was appointed grandmaster, he met the required standards between July 2005 and April 2006 at three tournaments in Spain .

For India he played at the Asian Team Championships in 2003 (in the third team, with which he reached third place) and in 2008 (in the second team).
