SP Sethuraman (also known as Sethuraman Panayappan ; born February 25, 1993 in Chennai ) is an Indian chess player with the FIDE title of Chess Grand Master .
Life
In 2009 he won the U16 World Championship in Kemer . Sethuraman reached the last grandmaster norm in 2010 and was the youngest Indian chess grandmaster at the time.
In 2014 he became Indian master in Kottayam . In 2016 he won the Asian Championship in Tashkent with 7.0 out of 9 points.
Sethuraman represented his home country at the 2014 Chess Olympiads (in which he took third place with India) and 2016 as well as the 2019 World Team Championship .
In the French team championship he played for the CE de Bois-Colombes , in the Czech extra league for the ŠK AD Jičín, in the Chinese team championship for Shenzhen and Shandong and in the Hungarian team championship for DVTK Sport Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság .
