Nehemiah Mote (born June 21, 1993 in Campsie ) is an Australian volleyball player .

Career

Mote got into volleyball through his father, who played for Samoa , and joined a church team in 2008. He played for the Baulkham Hills Volleyball Club from 2012 before receiving a scholarship from the Australian Institute of Sport in 2013 . In the summer of 2013 he worked for the Australian national team and took part in the U23 World Cup in Brazil. In 2014, the middle blocker took part with Australia in the World League and the World Cup in Poland . Then he moved to the German Bundesliga club TV Bühl . There he reached the semi-finals in the DVV Cup and the playoff quarter-finals in the 2014/15 season . In the summer of 2015 he played with the national team at the World Cup and again in the World League . In the 2015/16 season he was in the cup final with Bühl . A move to the Berlin Recycling Volleys was then planned, but this did not materialize due to a serious knee injury. In 2017 Mote was signed by the Swiss first division club Volley Amriswil . In 2018 he participated with Australia in the World Cup in Italy and Bulgaria . After that, the middle blocker returned to Australia. In 2019 he moved to the German Bundesliga club VfB Friedrichshafen .
