Nesli 2009

Nesli or Nesly Rice (* 29. December 1980 in Senigallia as Francesco Tarducci ) is an Italian rapper and singer. With the number one album Nesliving Vol. 3 - Voglio , he made his breakthrough in 2012 after turning away from rap.

life and career

Beginnings

Tarducci was born in Senigallia in 1980 and has two older siblings: Fabrizio and Federica. In 1996, at the age of 16, he accidentally injured his best friend with a gun, which was a defining experience for his future. From September 2008 onwards, Francesco and Fabrizio Tarducci broke off all contact, apparently due to ideas about the respective work that were viewed as incompatible.

Career start

Tarducci began his career in 1999 when he and his brother Fabri Fibra recorded the demo Fitte da latte , which quickly became known in the local rap scene. Under the pseudonym Nesly Rice, he developed a style that was strongly based on his brother. He then began various collaborations with representatives of the Italian hip-hop scene, the most important with Sottotono in the song Da me , which appeared on the album … In teoria . In 2000 Nesli was involved in the Dinamite mixtape of the collective Teste Mobili , the following year on the album Cactus by Piante Grasse ; He also recorded the song Dico a voi with Basley Click , included in Basley Click - The Album .

Nesli released his first own album in 2003 with the title Ego , produced by DJ Myke. The second album Home followed in 2004 , which Nesli also produced himself. There are also collaborations with Maxi B and Fabri Fibra . In 2006 he worked as a producer on Fabri Fibra's third album, Tradimento ; In 2007 he released his third album Le verità nascoste with Universal , with the singles Riot and Nesli Park . La Repubblica XL magazine named the album the best hip-hop album of the year. In the same year he continued his collaboration with Fabri Fibra on his album Bugiardo . He also started the collective FOBC together with Vacca, with which he published the titles Non mi butto giù , Il verdetto , Spara and Tu che ne sai . In 2008 he worked with Mondo Marcio on the song Tagliarmi le vene , which appeared on the mixtape In cosa credi .

Nesliving (2009)

In 2009 Nesli released the free mixtape Nesliving Vol. 1 on the Internet . Together with Two Fingerz he recorded the song Finto , which was included on their album Il disco finto , and with Daniele Vit the song Per semper , produced by Big Fish. The fourth studio album, Fragile - Nesliving Vol. 2, was released on Doner Music at the end of 2009 . It was accompanied by several music videos, for the songs Fragile , Una vita non basta , Non tornerò , and La fine . The latter song achieved greater fame and was also covered by Tiziano Ferro in 2011 . After the album was released, Nesli went on an extensive tour of Italy and opened Mika’s concert in 2010 at the Mediolanum Forum in Milan .

The fifth album L'amore è qui followed in autumn 2010, preceded by the singles Notte vera and L'amore è qui . The album reached 13th place in the charts. The third single was Capricorno in 2011 . Together with Mondo Marcio and Danti , Nesli recorded Easy in 2011 for the Mondo Marcio album Musica da serial killer . In the same year he signed a recording deal with Carosello Records .

Nesliving Vol. 3 - Voglio

In September 2012 Nesli released his sixth album Nesliving Vol. 3 - Voglio , in which a clear turn from rap to pop can be seen. The album was preceded by the singles Perdo via , Partirò and Ti sposerò. It reached first place on the Italian album charts . In December came the EP Come a Natale - Chitarra e voce , which contained five songs from Nesliving Vol. 3 - Voglio in an acoustic version . Both Marco Mengoni and Emma were interested in working with Nesli.

In 2013, Nesli wrote the successful song Dimentico tutto for Emma, which appeared on her album Schiena . In April 2013 a new edition of Nesliving Vol. 3 - Voglio was released under the title Voglio di + - Nesliving Vol. 3 with three bonus tracks , including Un bacio a te and È una vita . In the summer Nesli went on tour again. He also took part in the Music Summer Festival 2013 with the song Un bacio a te and received the Premio Lunezia Pop for the album Voglio di + - Nesliving Vol. 3 . In the song Dum, dum, dum by the DJ Stylophonic , Nesli took over the vocal part.

Andrà tutto bene and Kill Karma

In 2014 Nesli signed a new recording deal with Universal and began work on his seventh album. This was produced by Brando and was published in 2015 under the title Andrà tutto bene . In November, the title song Andrà tutto bene, the first single from it was released. In addition, his participation in the Sanremo Festival 2015 with the song Buona fortuna amore was announced; this appeared during the competition on February 10, 2015. He also took part in the third edition of the Coca-Cola Summer Festival , with the fourth single Quello che non si vede . In autumn 2015 a live edition of Andrà tutto bene appeared , which also contained a DVD.

Nesli returned in 2016 with the single Equivale all'immenso . This was followed by the eighth album Kill Karma , which was released on July 1, 2016. The second single was Perfettamente sbagliato . At the end of the year his participation in the Sanremo Festival 2017 was announced, where he competed with Alice Paba and the song Do retta a te .
